Family, Fellowship, Meetings, and Winding Down

Dr. Seawell and Hilltop BaptistOn June 10, we headed to Thomasville, NC to join Hilltop Baptist Church for the their midweek prayer service. It was refreshing to be able to pray as a church at the altar for the many different needs. Dr. Seawell allowed us to give testimony and present the work to the Dominican Republic.

On June 14, our deputation schedule had us at Shenandoah Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, NC to sing, present, Shenandoah Baptist in Rocky Mount, NCand preach. Pastor Hill has faithfully preached at this ministry for over 47 years! It is an encouragement to us to see the faithfulness of Pastor Hill and many others who have stood steadfastly in the gap.

DesktopFrom June 15-18, we attended our World Wide Family Fellowship Week in Greensboro, NC. Pastor Fred Daniel and Brookhaven Baptist Church truly embodied a kind and giving host. We had the privilege to hear from our board directors, visiting pastors (including Stephanie’s dad), and our fellow missionaries. It was uplifting to look at Habakkuk and be reminded that we can choose joy no matter what we face in life! We always look forward to this week each and every year.

After spending Father’s day with Stephanie’s dad, we drove to Mechanicsville, VA to be withRural Point Baptist Church's choir Rural Point Baptist Church. Pastor Greg Parisher gave us the opportunity to present the work, teach Sunday School, and preach in the morning service. We are thankful for his service and the service of his father, Dr. Gene Parisher. He has had a part in training the three pastors that Tim has worked for during and after college!

It is hard to believe that we are quickly approaching the end of our deputation trail. God has been good to us! We are at 92% of our needed monthly support! We are in the midst of wrapping up things on the home front. Please pray as we complete paperwork, finalize container details, look at plane tickets, and work on the many other things to wrap up before we leave. We would also love for you to check out our May/June prayer letter if you have not had the chance! Thank you for your prayers! “I will joy in the God of my salvation.”
