On Sunday, November 17, we returned to Pennsylvania to minister in the services at Community Baptist Church. We were so thankful that the pastor rescheduled the meeting for us so that we could attend. Our hearts were challenged and uplifted during the morning service, and we were able to present about the Dominican Republic and preach in the evening service. As always, we enjoy the opportunity to not only talk about our burden but also to meet and fellowship with believers around the country.
We enjoyed a few days from traveling as we celebrated Thanksgiving with family and friends. From December 5-8, we had the wonderful privilege to be involved in the first annual mission conference at Kerwin Baptist Church in Kernersville, NC. From the moment we walked into the church, you could sense the excitement and anticipation among the people. Our hearts were challenged through the other missionaries and Dr. David Gibbs, and they were overflowing from the kindness and giving spirit of the members (even the 2 and 3 year old class!). We feel truly blessed and undeserving of the blessings that God gives us through other believers.
Praise the Lord for two more churches promising to partner with us! God is good!
