The third Sunday in March was an unofficial Crown College alumni Sunday. We were privileged to be with two fellow alumni pastors in the morning and evening. On Sunday morning, we were in Pound, VA at Independent Baptist Church with the Dent family. Tim worked for Mrs. Dent’s father all four years in college. Pastor Dent extended the invitation for us to sing, give our testimonies, present the work, and teach Sunday school. On Sunday evening, we headed back to Glade Springs, VA on Interstate 81 to join Joy Baptist Church
for their evening service. We enjoyed teaching the youth group before the evening service as well as presenting the ministry and giving the special music. Pastor Overbay, his family, and the church were excellent hosts. We enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship with both of these families!
On Wednesday, March 18, we continued meetings in southwest Virginia at Rural Retreat Baptist Church in Rural Retreat, VA. The church members made us feel right at home with them for their midweek prayer service. Pastor graciously allowed us to present the work and preach.
We returned briefly to the northeast on Sunday, March 22. It was exciting to attend our home and sending church in Downingtown, PA for the morning service. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful church behind us. In the evening, we headed east to Howell, NJ to present and preach at First Baptist Church. Pastor Gaul and his family were an encouragement to us during the service and afterwards with a time of fellowship.
Currently, our support level is at 82%, and we are eagerly anticipating receiving our new level later this week! Thank you again for your prayers and support for our family. Our departure date is steadily drawing closer!
